2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee slogs home to Detroit

When it’s time to slog off to Detroit for the annual North American International Auto Show, it is best to prepare for urban combat knee deep in snow. Of course, it could also end up being sunny and 50 degrees,…

2016 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition: Like using a hatchet to peel taters

Driving a Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition to commute to work through urban traffic or thrumming tires on the freeway is like using a hatchet to peel taters. Sure, with a bit if finesse it can be done, but it’s…

2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4×4: Strong enough for a man, a woman, everyone

I was a bit harsh on the 2016 Jeep Renegade back in March when Marco Rubio had a shot at being a contender for POTUS. If only I had gotten a hold of the Trailhawk edition. This premium trim is…

2016 Jeep Renegade: If you’ve got the money, honey, get the Grand ‘Cher****’

I like the 2016 Jeep Renegade but I can’t fully tell you why. It’s a nice-enough vehicle in the Jeep tradition.  There is a level of comfort to the vehicle: the seats were firm and comfortable and the interior was…

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT: Like Nothing Else

Take nearly 70 years of Jeep four-wheel-drive experience, mix in a healthy dose of Mercedes engineering, stoke it with a big HEMI V8 engine, and you get this:  the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.  It’s a mix of automobile that…

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Offers Real Luxury

Real luxury is never having to worry about where the road will lead. While my partner was slaving away doing bank duty last weekend, I took the re-invigorated 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee to my favorite road. I’ve traveled this sliver of pavement since I was a baby, but apparently the state had other plans for my day. There was a detour. I paid it no mind, swerved around the barricades, and hit the gas with full confidence the Jeep could handle anything in its way.
