2011 Lexus LFA – Preview
I’m in Miami, FL as a guest of Lexus to drive their new supercar – the Lexus LFA. It is the first attempt by the Japanese luxury car manufacturer to create a car to compete with the super exotics from Europe. It features a 4.8-liter V10 engine that generates 552 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque for a max speed of 202- mph. 2010 Lexus RX – Preview
I am in St. Simon’s Island, GA for the launch of the new Lexus RX. Originally launched in 1998 as a 1999 model, the Lexus RX was the first car-based luxury SUV. Since then, Toyota’s luxury edition has sold over 780,000 RX’s. It is a core model for Lexus and when planning a new one, they took an evolutionary approach.

Top 10 Vehicles from Detroit Auto Show 2009
I attended the 2009 North American International Auto Show last week and as is custom, I chose the Top 10 vehicles from the show. Our criteria is that they have to be production vehicles from gay-friendly manufacturers in order to qualify. While some of the concepts introduced were HOT (Cadillac Converj anyone?), we stuck to our guns and picked vehicles that you’ll be able to drive in the near future.

9/2/2008 – The Human Rights Campaign Foundation just released its 2009 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and 6 of the 259 major U.S. businesses that scored a top rating of 100 percent are automotive manufacturers. Listed in alphabetical order they are: Chrysler, Ford, GM, Subaru, Toyota and VW.
Subaru, in concert with their long-standing support of the LGBT community, is not surprising. Some might be taken back by the other companies on the list as well as those that didn’t achieve a perfect score.
