What did you think you wanted to be when you grew up?
One of the Dukes of Hazzard
How long have you worked in the auto industry? 6 years
What do you drive now? 2005 Audi A6

Are you out at work?
Yes

Was being gay ever an issue at any of your jobs?
NO
If you had one piece of advice to give to a gay person wanting to work in the auto industry, what would it be? Be yourself – staying in the closet requires to much mental focus to “keep your story straight.” If people talk about you behind your back ignore them. Answer your critics by doing your job well.
Ok, here is the fun part; if you had $25,000 and had to buy a new car, what would it be and why? VW Jetta TDI
Same question but bigger budget; $50,000 Audi A6 Avant
If money was no object and you had to drive it every day pay to grey market import an Audi RS6 Avant
What is your favorite car of all time and why? The VW Bus. This was the first vehicle that ever hooked me. The simplicity of the design was amazing – using almost every inch of that loaf to create a people-hauler like no other. Everywhere I drove in my bus the other drivers would smile and wave and the bus never failed to inspire an interesting conversation with a stranger at a gas pump.
If your car/truck could talk, what would it say about you? I see how much money you waste on fast food and other crap – SOOOO why haven’t you gotten me some new wheels and an intake?
Finally, why do you want to be featured on Gaywheels.com? I have been a reader of gaywheels.com for several years and am so impressed with what the Joe’s have built. I love their on-air segments on the Derek and Romaine show (Sirius/Out-Q). I have not had the chance to meet either of the Joe’s – but Joe LaMuraglia has been a great help to me as I launched Queers4Gears.com Thanks Joe!
