Age: 34

Occupation:  BDC Director

What did you think you wanted to be when you grew up? Race
car driver

How long have you worked in the auto industry? 6 years

What do you drive now? 2009 Subaru Legacy Limted

Are you out at work? Yes

Was being gay ever an issue at any of your jobs? No

If so, how did you deal with it?

It has always been well
received for the most part, if anything I’ve allowed fellow employees to have a
better understanding an acceptance of homosexuality…

If you had one piece of advice to give to a gay person
wanting to work in the auto industry, what would it be?

Do not be afraid to be
yourself. Some will accept you for who you are, others may not, but it
shouldn’t keep you from being true to yourself.
The others will either come around, or will learn to accept or tolerate
it.

Ok, here is the fun part; if you had $25,000 and had to buy
a new car, what would it be and why?

Chevrolet
Camaro, because of its US Heritage, and amazing styling.  GM really got it right this time!

Same question but bigger budget; $50,000 –

Audi S5 Coupe… Just
an amazing car, love the styling, comfort and performance… for 2 straight years
that’s my been my #1 pick at both Boston
and Montreal Auto Shows!

If money was no object and you had to drive it every day

Probably the S5… That car seems to be
quite satisfying.. The exotics don’t really appeal much to the Vermont life!

What is your favorite car of all time and why?

Well of all
the cars I’ve owned, it would be my 2000 Nissan Maxima SE with leather and a
5-speed.. just a absolutely great car, and wish today that I kept it when it
had 150K on it and still ran strong!

If your car/truck could talk, what would it say about you?

That
I know how to respectfully push it’s limits…

Finally, why do you want to be featured on Gaywheels.com?

I
like to show off ;-)… Seriously though I feel that it is important for other
gays to know that there are family, friends and allies all around us, in every
industry, even up here in the middle of nowhere in Vermont!
