We have a confession to make.
As most of you know, Gaywheels had a bit of a transition earlier this year when founder Joe LaMuraglia stepped down and handed the editorial reins to Joe Tralongo. Thanks to Joe’s L’s planning and Joe T’s smarts, the transition went pretty smoothly. Except for one small detail: we’ve been neglecting to post one of your favorite things, the Most-Researched Vehicle reports.
And so, to catch up, here’s Gaywheels’ top-ten list from the second quarter of 2010:
- Volvo XC60
- Audi R8
- Nissan Quest
- Mitsubishi Outlander
- VW Golf
- VW Beetle
- VW Eos
- VW Jetta
- VW Touareg
- Mercedes-Benz C-Class
At first glance, there are a couple of things that jump out to us:
- The Volvo XC60 debuted at the top spot
- The VW Touareg and Beetle are back on the list
- For the first time, the Saab 9-3 isn’t on the list
- There’s a wide mix of body styles and price points represented
And just to clarify, this particular Most-Researched List is based on website statistics gathered from April 1, 2010 – June 30, 2010 from Gaywheels.com’s new car data partner vLane.com.
We’ll do our best to post data from the third quarter as soon as it rolls in!
