I gotta tell ya, I like the Toyota Sienna.
Sure, it struggles for love. It’s a minivan, long and short of it. It’s a classic, and here in the days of sportier and faster SUVs that look younger and prettier and are all the rage – even with the geriatric set – minivans get little to no love ….. until you need one.
The thing I like about the Toyota Sienna is that it is way too easy to get people of varying abilities in and out of the vehicle. You can easily get six adults, large or small, spritely or not, with or without heavy equipment and / or not a five-dollar bill to their name …… with a little love and helping hand (and hopefully no jerks around you), you can get them into the Toyota Sienna easily and safely.
And then be on your way. Wherever it is you have to go. Whether it’s to the affordable Italian restaurant for Sunday dinner. Or to see the infirmed relative wherever they may be laid up. (I will not drive them to a place of worship – not during the days of coronavirus.) You can be the kind of earthly saint you really are and prove it with the 2020 Toyota Sienna.
Without going into a whole lot of detail, cleanup of thrills and spills inside the car is a snap. Let your mind wander but know that whatever happens, you can handle it and not have to worry about how it will affect your image or your upholstery – with the 2020 Toyota Sienna.
So just think about it – if this vehicle allows you to be a kindness giver, just think what you can do if you and your dearly beloved have children? Sure, you want to look cool and fashionable as you take them to all their sports and band practices (which hopefully will resume to some extent come September). But after a while, doesn’t cool and groovy get tiring when with the push of key fob, you don’t even need to exert energy for your offspring and animal darlings to get in, get out and be safe all while you watch the magic happen? And stay wrinkle-free?
The Sienna is a breeze to drive. I found the handling nimble and breezy, and that’s saying something given its size. Indeed, you want to be careful when you park it, but with all the neato-presto parking gadgets available – you still want to be careful. This is, after all, a minivan. Translated, that means it is still a workhorse. It’s a stallion but needs to be pampered like Baby Huey on occasion. Look both ways and separate your passengers if you need to do so.
Prices start at $31,640, but there are a lot more options as you go up the trim line that might be worth it for your needs. Mileage is 19 city / 26 highway. There is a lot to like about this vehicle, but you have to NEED it in order for it to be WORTH it.
If you are a swingin’ carefree bachelorette of any kind and just don’t need all that people room – and just don’t have those kind of responsibilities – thank the goddesses and keep looking for your small car or scooter that will fit your needs.
Yet should you have responsibilities – a lot of them – don’t make it any harder than it has to be.
The 2020 Toyota Sienna minivan is here to help – and say Thank You for Your Service.
