When two gay vintage car enthusiasts arrive in Cuba, cruising takes on a whole new meaning. This is the land that time (and Uncle Sam) forgot, where 50% off all the cars on the road today are pre-1961 American chrome land yachts. Purple Cadillacs, low hung Mercurys, and exquisitely preserved fins and chrome of all makes still ply the roads. No parts have been imported for nearly a half-century, but the resourceful Cubans use house paint, duct tape and what felt like lube to keep their beloved relics going.
