It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and here in America, many of us are feverishly cleaning house and baking gluten-free pies for hordes of invading marauders houseguests. But before we get elbow-deep in stuffing, have a look at these holiday news items:
1. That Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels edition we spotted earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show? Well, in case you hadn’t heard, it’s for real-real. Just keep in mind that the bright metallic paint and Hot Wheels flame badges come at a cost — namely $7,000 above the regular Camaro’s sticker price. Still, some would call that a bargain.
2. Everyone’s favorite financial adviser, out lesbian Suze Orman, is shilling for Acura this holiday season. Here she is, picking up some strange woman in a TL:
That’s interesting, considering that Suze has often encouraged her fans to avoid new cars and purchase “new used” vehicles instead, but whatever — girl’s gotta eat, right? The million-dollar question is whether One Million (Intellectually Challenged) Moms will launch another of their laughable boycotts in protest. Let’s hope!
3. No one really enjoys traveling over the river and through the woods to sit around a dinner table full of obnoxious in-laws, do they? We didn’t think so.
