I love my dogs. Given a choice between curling up with them and napping away the afternoon or taking a Maserati Quattroporte out for a spin with Hugh Jackman — complete with makeout stops at scenic overlooks — I would have have a very hard time deciding.
So naturally, it pisses me off to see people leave their pets in cars. It’s bad enough when the weather is cool, but now that heat indices regularly top 100 degrees in many parts of the U.S., it’s downright infuriating. (Though in many places, not criminal.)
What can you do when you see a four-legged friend left out in a car with the windows rolled up? Here are a couple of options, courtesy of the ASPCA and PETA. Pick the one that suits you.
