Accidents don’t get more dramatic and expensive than the one that involved eight Ferraris and one Lamborghini this weekend on a highway in Japan. A report by the Associated Press states that the wreck began when one Ferrari driver lost control, hit the center median, then ricocheted across the highway. In total, 14 cars were involved in the carnage. This could have caused some serious damage to the victims. You just can’t risk getting into an accident, as you don’t know what the consequences are. Imagine if one of them suffered a head injury, or lost a limb, how would they be able to work and provide for their family? This might not be something that you think will ever happen to you, but it is an important topic. This is one of the reasons that so many people look into getting critical illness insurance (if you don’t know what it is, then look up what is critical illness insurance?). No one wants to be out of work, and certainly, no one wants to be able to provide for their families.
Thankfully, media reports currently indicate no one was seriously injured. This is a relief, but should any injuries emerge then someone like The bay area injury lawyers at Wakeford Gelini will be at hand to assist the victims. The same can’t be said for the wrecked exotic cars, which included a multi-generational mix of Modena’s finest. From the photos (along with a Japanese news video of the accident being cleared) you can make out a white Ferrari Testarossa, an F430 with large rear spoiler, an F430 and at least two F355s. Various sources have said the other cars include a Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini Diablo. Also: a very unfortunate Toyota Prius.
The combined total value of the wrecked vehicles is in excess of $1 million. Here’s a video look at the wreckage. (Sadly, no sound.)
