2025 Buick Encore GX: Juuuust Right for your urban LGBT life

If comfort and cargo space and a bunch of standard features are your vibe, you will want to check out the 2025 Buick Encore.

Starting at just over $27K US, this Mighty Mouse of a vehicle could be perfect if you are short on space, short on time, and (most importantly) short on easy cash.

This handles well for a small car. The cabin is more luxurious than utilitarian, but it does well at being both.  You will get a basic 4-cylinder turbo but as you go up the food chain, All-Wheel Drive and other snazzy stuff is available.

Buick loves to name its vehicles beginning with the letters E and N.  Enclave. Envista.  Envision.  Always remember which one you are asking to drive.  Here, it will be the Encore, as in applause, or Bravo (but not the Mazda, Fiat or Lamborghini Bravo models).

There is a lot to be said for this large four-door set of high-powered roller skates. Remember, this is a subcompact SUV, which means that space is at a premium, for starters. It’s basic – but it does deliver in so many ways. Mileage is an average 31 mpg.  As gasoline continues to climb in price, that alone may be worth a look.

I won’t lie to you: We are living in the scariest times of our lives.  Where Ronald Reagan tried and failed to kill us off completely, Trump is trying to finish the job.  If that sounds harsh, trust me, that is a tame assessment of what is really happening.

Again, please be vigilant.  And be prepared.

Have all your legal documents and finances in order.  We cannot prepare nor prevent everything that will happen to us because of our neighbors who did not trust a Black Woman to lead the country. But we can protect ourselves and even rise up as necessary.

If you are unfamiliar with the Resistance of the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II, here is great starter on what resistance can look like.

Our Trans family is slowly, methodically being eliminated and we must not let that happen.  Never forget that the Nazis came after the weakest and then came for everyone else after everyone had become too complacent.

Also, if you’ve never heard of the Frog in Boiling Water analogy, well, here ya go.

Coming attractions will prove to be hotter than Phoenix or Tucson will be this coming summer.
