We drove the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK recently and wanted to make sure we shared photos with you before the full review gets posted. What is it? The 2010 GLK is Mercedes-Benz’s entry into the compact luxury SUV market. It is based on their solid C-Class platform and will compete directly with the Acura RDX, Infiniti EX35, BMW X3 and Land Rover LR2. The GLK will only be available in the GLK350 trim featuring a 268 horsepower engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with either RWD or 4Matic AWD. [...]

The show was overshadowed by the financial crisis in Detroit and GM and Chrysler were noticeably absent from the press days. The latest rainbow round-up has General Motors brands’ Saturn, Cadillac, Saab and Chevrolet inviting gay & lesbian Angelenos to cruise on over to the LA Convention Center for a grassroots “Gay Day in LA at the Auto Show” event on Sunday, November 23.
