Emigrating in an Enclave

Tuesday, September 2, 2008 – I’m happy to report that the Enclave past the niece and nephews test with flying colors. They climbed right in, grabbed the wireless headphones for the optional rear entertainment system and settled down for a ride to the local pond and back. We had a total of 6 people with an even ratio of adults to kids and the Enclave seemed very much at home. The roads in Ridgefield, CT are narrow, and undulate and weave their way through the countryside. The Enclave handled the curves with ease and delivered its cargo on both ends of the trip in comfort. Infiniti gave us a sneak peak at the new 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible today. Making its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, the G37 Convertible gives Infiniti another product to draw people from their primary competitor, the BMW 3-series. From the looks of it,they won’t have too much trouble attracting more customers. The photos looks great and if it drives like the coupe, they’ll have a winner on their hands. [...]

I just arrived here in Pebble Beach and while I missed the live showing of the hot new CTS sportwagon, the folks at GM provided some great video and photography of the hot new cargo hauler. According to Cadillac, the 2010 CTS Sport Wagon is “the right car at the right time” – meaning that while cargo requirements may not have changed, the American consumer’s appetite for large SUVs has dwindled in the era of $4/gallon gasoline.
