Author George Bernard Shaw once said, “Youth is wasted on the young”, and we know exactly what he means. Just about the time you get your head together, your body starts falling apart.

Over the past couple of years, Russia has enacted laws to silence “LGBT propaganda”, and it’s justified such legislation with flawed sociological studies. Unfortunately, these laws are written so vaguely that no one really knows what counts as “propaganda”. President Putin says that there is no discrimination against Russia’s LGBT citizens, but can they hold hands in public? Can they kiss? Can they declare their love in any way, or is that breaking the law?

I like the Beetle, and find it much better looking and better trimmed than its “New Beetle” predecessor. And by now, it seems like I’d driven just about every variant of the Volkswagen Beetle except I hadn’t yet been behind the wheel of the TDI, so when the offer was made I eagerly accepted.
