2013 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro: Can It Still Compete With Younger Rivals?

Audi has one of the most expansive line-ups of niche luxury models in the industry, but when it comes right down to it, nearly one out of every two Audis sold is the comparatively “bread and butter” model known as the A4 sedan. But don’t think we’re likening Audi’s hottest worldwide seller to a piece of stale toast and unsavory buttery topping that just refuses to melt or spread properly. If there’s one thing we’re sure of around here, it’s that no Audi is anywhere near the equivalent of automotive prison food. [...]

2013 Audi A5 And The Face That Will NOT Be Ignored

Stereotyping is one of LA’s favorite past times. This constant need for categorization can make-or-break people, places, and things. German luxury cars are of course included in this: BMW has performance (people who wear bright colored polos with obscure Tour-de-France logos on them and backwards baseball hats), Mercedes has luxury (old people), and Audi has design (people who name their first-born Neutra and claim to want to move to France because everything is ‘just so effortlessly chic there’). We’ve put together a collection of automotive ads/teasers that we know are coming this coming Sunday, February 7th. [...]

2011 Audi A8 Preview

I am in Miami as a guest of Audi to witness the reveal of the new 2011 Audi A8. Audi chose Miami to reveal their new flagship in part as the kick off of the Art Basel show – self described as the most important art show in the U.S. We learned very little about the new car other than some top line specs: The new A8 will come to market with either of two engines, a 4.2L V8 with 372 hp and a 4.2L V8 TDI with 350 HP They will be followed by a 3.0L V6 TDI with 250 HP. Both engines have Audi’s legendary Quattro system as standard and are mated to a new 8-speed tiptronic transmission. [...]
