2011 Lexus LFA – Preview

I’m in Miami, FL as a guest of Lexus to drive their new supercar – the Lexus LFA. It is the first attempt by the Japanese luxury car manufacturer to create a car to compete with the super exotics from Europe. It features a 4.8-liter V10 engine that generates 552 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque for a max speed of 202- mph. The engine is unique to the LFA and is mated to a unique six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG). I’ll be updating via Twitter during the day. If you aren’t following me on Twitter, you can do so [...]

GM Has an “Outie”

GM is a strong supporter of LGBT media and events and one of the first to recognize this site as a valuable media outlet. All that hard work has paid off and GM’s employee resource group (PLUS) has been recognized by Out & Equal as LGBT Employee Resource group of the year. [...]

I’m going to use Twitter to update you on my experiences living with the cube for the next few days. If you aren’t following me on Twitter, do so [...]

Chief Gay Officer Leaves GM

I was asked to collaborate in a digital farewell to our favorite CGO (Chief Gay Officer) – Travis Parman – formally of GM. How could I say no? Travis is leaving the General after almost 11 years of service and we will miss him. He was an champion for reaching out the LGBT media and made sure sites like Gaywheels were included on events along with the mainstream outlets. One last thought; on Travis’ last day, GM also lost an executive on the Volt program and the Saturn sale to Penske fell through. Coincidence? You decide. [...]
